“I was very embarrassed to come to the pantry but everyone was so friendly and the variety of food is great. Free bread and fresh produce really helps with two teenagers and with the money I’m saving, it’s helped with my electricity bill.”

Our Op Shops + Hub provide the locations, awareness + logistical support for our Food Pantries, as well as offering quality, low-cost goods to our communities.

Op Shops.

Our Op Shops are vibrant community spaces! They not only enable people to find low cost essentials (and interesting treasures), they also help support our Pantry and Community Care services.

Our Community Care team works with our Pantry to help provide practical assistance, and our Pantry team can refer people experiencing hardship to our Care services.

Our Annual Initiatives.

LifeWalk.

LifeWalk is LifeHouse Care’s annual community fundraiser, where we gather to walk a section of our beautiful Coffs Harbour coastline, side by side with other locals who want to see others thrive.

Each year, 50% of all funds raised through LifeWalk are allocated for the direct practical assistance of vulnerable people. The remaining 50% of funds raised goes towards the continued work of LifeHouse Care in the community.

Under The Tree.

Under the Tree is our yearly Pop-Up Christmas Toy Shop, providing local families the gift of dignity and ownership. With a similar approach as our Pantries, parents and guardians can choose a gift for each of the children in their care, for just a few dollars, allowing them the opportunity to put something special ‘Under The Tree’ for their children at Christmas.

Under The Tree is a collaboration between LifeHouse Church and local community partners.

For The Table.

Our connected Christmas initiative is called For The Table. With generous donations from our local communities, LifeHouse Care purchases Christmas food hampers through Foodbank NSW & ACT, focusing strongly on partnering with our local public schools to support families doing it tough.

Working closely with school wellbeing teams and chaplains, we help make sure families don’t go without at Christmas, so every home can enjoy something special ‘For The Table’.

LifeHouse Care is the benevolent ministry of LifeHouse Church.

We are a registered charity who is a recognised Public Benevolent Institution (PBI). We operate the LifeHouse Care Gift Fund which is a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). We encourage you to verify our details at www.abr.gov.au.
